Up for bids and sold to the highest bidder with no reserve is this 1975 Honda CB550k. Survivor. Appears complete and all original except exhaust. This machine runs very well. Starts right up with electric or kick start. No unusual smoke or leaks. Runs great and shift through the gears with no problems. Ive ridden this machine about 200 miles and is a lot of fun. Carburetors rebuilt. New sparks plugs and recent oil change. Rebuilt master cylinder and front brake caliper. Has new Kenda tires front and rear with nice, original chrome wheels. New battery. New fuel petcock. Seat has no rips. Chrome looks good for driver quality with some light surface rust and pitting. Still shines nicely though. The gas tank has the original Sunrise Flake Orange paint. Again, driver quality with some staining and fade on top. Some might call it patina being 42 years old. The inside of gas tank has been lined. There is some liner residue on top of gas tank(I didn't do it). All of the electronics work. Headlight- both hi and low works as does tail light, brake light, horn and turn signals although sometimes the flasher is slow on signals. The indicator lights work as do gauges and gauge lights. The speedo is slow to return to 0 sometimes and probably needs lubrication. The exhaust is not original and has some light surface rust but sounds very nice with no leaks or holes. THE BIKE DOES NOT HAVE A TITLE! THE PREVIOUS OWNER IS DECEASED. I CAN WRITE BILL OF SALE BUT AUCTION ALSO INCLUDES A 1975 CB550k BARE FRAME WITH CLEAR, NUMBERS MATCHING OHIO TITLE. Ive spent a lot of time to describe what I know about the bike and its overall condition. It may or may not have problems known to me. It may need work in the future as is associated with a machine of this age. Please ask any questions.
