This is a Very Special Corvette. I have been the proud owner of this car a few years now but with 4 cars it is time for another enthusiast to take care of it and enjoy it like I have. This is One of few 1997 C5 in pristine condition in and out. This is as close as it can get to being "new" with 20 years life time and close to 98K miles. The paint is Original and shines like new. Floor mats and interior are in very good condition. This is non-smoker car. Trunk and all areas are clean without odors or stains. The car is as clean as it can be without being new. If you want better than this then you probably should look for a new Corvette and be ready to pay several times the price,.... right? Everything works, even the vanity lights on both sides. This Corvette has been garaged and protected all its life and it shows. Hard to find anything like it. Mechanically this corvette is solid. Gear box is 6 speed manual and works perfectly. Engine is approximate at 400hp with cold air intake and Borla Exhaust that gives it a wonderful sound. Car has 97895 true miles and it shows. This car is an economical rocket on the highway and gives 32 miles per gallon cruising in gear 6. I recently did a 900 miles (about $95 in gas) trip from Atlanta to south Texas and It performed excellent and without any issues. I would drive this car anywhere without hesitation. This car turned 20 this year and becoming a classic. Following work was done at (Famous) Vette Smith in Miami 07/16/2013New A/C Compressor w/clutchNew accumulatorNew Water PumpTwo new fan beltsNew hose A/C Low sideFull service, fluids, oils, etc at a substantial cost. All this at 94308 miles. I have the original pouch with owners manual etc in New condition. Even the corvette pen that came with it is still there. Two sets of keeys with fobs that works perfectly. Ice cold A/C, Original Sound System that works like new. Newer tires in great shape. The targa top is solid black from the outside but it is glass and you can see out from the inside. I have not done much research but it may be a rare pre production or one of the launch corvettes for the C5 model. It feels much stronger and faster than a normal C5. I have had 3 C5s, this has been by far the best one. Whoever buys it will love it. The car is 20 years old and as such it has to have some flaws righ? Well, the few flaws I found are: Paint on a small portion on one corner of the glass targa top is starting to crack but is is a very small area and barely visible, drivers seat has no holes but has a few small spots that would need leather paint and there is a small parking rash of the right side of the car that should be easily fixed with buffing the area. I think that is pretty good for a 20 years old car that has never been fixed, repaired or changed in any way. I am providing many pictures and will answer any questions. Before I forget, I have a set (very difficult to find) Shop manuals for C5 1997 that I will include with the car. This set is 20 years old but in new condition and worth a lot. It came with the car and it's part of this car so they are included. Title is free and clear of liens. You will receive the Title immediately after you pay the car. $500 deposit withing 48 hours to paypal and balance paid with Cashiers check or wire transfer within 7 days and that has to clear the bank before delivery no exceptions. I will assist meeting the driver if you are transporting the car to another state. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. Ebay motors has a buyers protection program that would get you all your money back if seller does not fulfill their part so buyer is protected 100%, seller is not so no excuses regarding payment, Full payment before any delivery. You can pay in person and get the Title at that moment or you can send a cashier check and when the bank has accepted it the title will be mailed to you. Car is sold as is.
