This is a very solid Texas 1979 Volkswagen super beetle convertible.It has new 2 stage dark metallic blue paint, new windshield and seal, New off white door cards, seat covers, headliner, top padding, outer top, cables and rear wood bow, rear window seal, many new rubber parts, new running boards, fender beading, headlight rings. The brake system has new front brake shoes, drums, soft lines, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, front to back hard line, and rear wheel cylinders. It has 4 new tires with less than 1 mile on them!Engine is a 1600cc universal case , with a rebuilt carburetor, new fuel pump, starter, battery, voltage regulator, generator. the car runs and drives, the steering is very responsive.It has been driven around the block a few times since being put back on the road after sitting for 20 years. There are no tags on it at this time, thus the limited drive time.The car is nearly 40 years old, it has flaws/imperfections and could use some fine tuning/some more work as you would expect on an older car. for example, horn does not work, windshield wiper motor needs looking at, (its weak/slow).
