Up for sale is this beautiful 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. I have owned the car for the last 10 years, I bought it with 76k original miles and it currently has 81k miles. The vehicle has been well maintained over the years; the oil has been changed every 2k miles, the clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing were all replaced two years ago. Two weeks ago I replaced the two front calipers and master cylinder. It also has a fresh tune up including plugs, wires, and points. As far as I know the car is a real super sport, there were a limited number produced that came with a 350 engine. Unfortunately I do not have the build sheet to prove this but the car does feature the SS gauge package, SS console and bucket seats, and original SS wheels (the wheels were refinished two years ago, and new centers and trim rings were added). The car was Ziebart undercoated after I purchased it. The car was repainted red w/ black stripes by a previous owner; the original color is Placer Gold w/ black stripes. The only issue is that the throw out bearing makes a whining noise, It was a brand new part but is defective. Overall the car is in great condition, it is unfortunate that due to lack of time I can't give her the attention she needs, so it is time to let someone else enjoy her.
