The vehicle runs and drives great, recently overheated just slightly past center line and does so if drive longer than 15/20 mins. The previous owner had the head gaskets replaced which is extremely common for this engine as they have a high failure rate. This is the second Discovery 2 I've owned and it has been very reliable and well maintained. Everything works. Car has one remote key, programed and working. Exterior: Very very clean body, no major scratches or dents at all. Only one very tiny indent on the hood along with some very light scratching but it is barely noticeable. The front bumper also has a crack in that has been taped since my owning of it (see pic). The car is on larger 18 inch wheels from a 2004 Discovery 2, tires are in excellent shape with alot of life left in them (see pics) Interior: has typical headliner sag. Features additional Rover cup holders. Stereo is a pop out clarion touch screen unit that features Sirius satellite radio with Navigation, DVD Bluetooth etc and is equipped for adding a backup camera, however the touch screen is black. Radio still fully functions when touch screen is closed (see pics). A/C is ICE cold. Drivers seat has a tear (see pics) Work done: Aside from the head gaskets being replaced by the previous owner, the car has new catalytic converters/y piping going to the muffler as previous owner broke the PCV valve and allowed oil to burn through the cats. Car has been upgraded to new Discovery 1 wiper arms with Rain X blades. Had tune up done when purchased vehicle last year IE all new plugs, wires, fluids and filters. Also has a new Land Rover Rhino spare tire cover. Needs: The vehicle will probably need brake pads soon, rotors are newer and in excellent shape. The undercarriage of the car has typical Land Rover/New England surface rust that has been covered in truck bed coating. The car runs very smooth aside from the overheating. No lights on the dash. When driving on long trips there beings a slight tapping sound coming from under the hood but have not investigated as to where it is coming from. The steering box will also "groan" from time to time when turning parked, investigated the issue when I purchased the car last year to make sure it wasn't the pump and the sound is from a ball bearing rubbing in the steering box which has no affect what so ever on the steering, it only happens when turning the wheel while parked. There is also one stud missing on the catalytic converter y piping. She isn't perfect but she certainly is a very clean 16 year old Rover.
