Up for auction with a low starting price and NO RESERVE is a beautiful 1970 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD. The odometer shows 59,000 miles and when I purchased the car from an estate at the end of 2016, it was represented as being original mileage. When I got the title back from the state of Pennsylvania, it was marked as "odometer disclosure exempt" which is common for cars of this age. At some point this Fleetwood has been resprayed with a very smooth and shiny green metallic paint. It was really applied nicely, but the body itself is NOT as straight as it could be. It's not bad, but it's not perfect. The right rear fender has rust bubbling through the body above the fender skirt. The other areas of rust are very minor and consist of paint bubbling where the vinyl top meets the body near the trunk lid and bubbling of paint around the left front cornering lamp on the front fender. This area of the front fender is also the only spot on the car where there is a dent, a very small one. Please see the photos for pictures of these four (4) flaws. I want you to see what you are bidding on. The exterior chrome on the car is average but it presents well when polished. The front bumper has the nicest chrome. The rear bumper is not as nice but is pretty straight. The door handles are pitted as is the mirror on the driver's door. I have included photos. The vinyl top is black and it is nice. It does not appear to have been dyed or painted. The BLACK interior is very nice. The leather seats are in very good condition with only the driver's seat showing signs of wear. The headliner is not loose or ripped. The dash is not cracked. The inlay on the steering wheel is cracked.. The rear door panels are very nice but the armrests on the front door panels are cracked. Please see the photos I have included. The driver's power seat works properly. The power door locks and power windows operate as intended. The radio turns on, but I can't get any sound from it. The blower operates when the a/c is turned on but it does not blow cold. This Cadillac runs and drives great and the car is PA. inspected! The engine is smooth and quiet. There are no exhaust leaks or noise from the lifters. The transmission shifts great. The tires are new Firestones. This 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood is not a show car, but it is a very clean and presentable car with great paint and a nice interior. And it runs great! I don't want to sell this car but I recently purchased a late model Escalade that I need to keep in the garage where this 1970 Fleetwood is kept. There is absolutely no way I'm letting this 1970 Cadillac sit outside exposed to the elements so it is time to let it go. Please only bid if you intend to purchase the car.
