2004 Land Rover Discovery SE in very good condition with only 95700 miles. Please note, for some reason Autocheck database indicates that this vehicle had some sort of title discrepancy at some point but I have clear California title for it(check the picture). I have inspected the truck throughout and there is no indication of any body or chassis repair or any signs of a flood damage(I am a professional in automotive field). I have spoke with California DMW and they have no record of it having any title issues. You can also check FREE Vehicle History Report at carsforsale.com and its all clear. I have purchased this truck to build an expedition vehicle but after sorting everything out I decided that I want something much bigger.It took me a while to find this one. I have looked at seven or so 2004 Discos advertised as mint or excellent, all having serious mechanical issues, barely running and non of them could go into Low 4X4. The previous owner stated that the engine was rebuild at 45K mi. by the first owner(no paper work) and I believe its true. While I was replacing oil and water pumps as a preventive maintenance(oil pumps tend to fail past 80K mi and its $1200+ repair). I have checked the crankshaft end float and it was 0.005. Crankshaft and connecting rods bearings showed minimal wear. Internals were very clean. The engine runs quiet and there is no leaks.(Check the video: youtube.com/watch?v=TKCO5CESMxM youtube.com/watch?v=mjLFv1WzmU0 ) This is a late 2004 production truck with improved block/cylinder liners engine and considered the best of all Discos.Its comes with central differential lock, hill descent, traction control, ABS, Sport transmission mode, coil spring suspension and the best looking Comet wheels(which complement this color trucks even more so when painted in semi gloss black).The truck clearly never been off road. No rust or body/chassis damage.Runs and drives as new, crisp shifting transmission. Goes in Low 4X4 and center diff. lock mode. No warning lights.AC blows cold. Everything works(power mirrors, power seats, radio and CD changer, sun roofs, power windows, power locks).Previous owner have spent few thousands $ in maintenance and repairs in the last year and I have repaired quiet few things.Only things it needs to be a real off roader are: steel bumpers(about $425 each shipped), proper shocks and tires and you are good to go. Now, Its 13 year old truck and after all it is a Land Rover so there is some wear and inherent Discovery issues.Curly dashboard syndrome (there is a kit to remedy such condition, if you care: britishpartsofutah.com/Land-Rover-Discovery-Dash-Dashboard-Repair-Kit-p/rcdshblk.htm)Front passenger backrest has several tiny silver sparkles stuck to it.The interior otherwise is in very good condition.Body has two very small dents and multiple minor chips/scratches but looks very good overall.Rear bumper cover is damaged(both front and rear bumper covers are made from very fragile rigid plastic and should be replaced with inexpensive steel bumpers or I can replace it with a used one for $200 extra).Front bumper cover has small crack.Rear plastic wheel arches are faded and should be refinished or replaced. Windshield has few stone chips.Highway type tires are so so.No jack.Registration is expired eight month ago(about $200 in back fees, but it can be waved or reduced, if you are in a different state you will not have to pay that). Sold as-is without warranty or exception and there are no refunds. I can assist with auto transporting at your expense. Its fairly cheap now days about $600 to east coast.
