For sale is this fine example of the mid 60's Ford Luxury classic car. The Thunderbird was considered the "Gentlemen's Sports Car ". With a powerful 300HP 390 cu.in. motor with a 4BBL carburetor the Thunderbird combined style, luxury along with power. Some fantastic features of the 1965 include, power front seat, power windows, power steering, power brakes, front disc brakes, spectacular sequential rear signals, 3 speed Cruise-O-Matic transmission, cockpit style dash controls, Swing-Away-Steering Wheel, rear fender skirts, fender mounted turn signals, dual exhaust, correct factory hubcaps and power radio antenna.Along with these features, which all work, the car has a new Edlebrock 4BBL carburetor, new front coil springs, new rear leaf springs, new pointless ignition, new upgraded fuse panel, new seat belts, new headliner and new carpet. This vehicle has 81,763 miles on the odometer and has seen some work done on it over the years. The paint has been stripped and the car now has been sprayed with a gray primer and 99% of body work is done. The interior is in decent condition.The chrome is all pretty good inside and outside, the trunk and floors are solid with the exception of under the rear seat has some rot. The trunk and floors have been repaired.This car is a daily driver, I drove it to work and around town plenty times and it runs really great and rides great too. I re-installed some trim after the primer was sprayed but left off some trim and all the rubber bumpers and such. All parts not on the car today are in the trunk. The car is complete. This was a restoration project that I now have no time for and I did all the hard work, now it's time for someone else to finish the restoration.This Thunderbird is not only a classic but its a SURVIVOR!
