Attention Collectors. For Sale: 1983 Honda CB1000C in excellent condition with 32000 miles. This bike was purchased from the original owner and has been in my modest collection for the past 11 years. Bike would be a fine addition to any collection and although not perfect, has only a couple of scratches which I have trouble finding sometimes myself. Engine is virtually new from the deck up with a fresh valve job, new intake manifolds, and the engine bored .020” over to clean up the cylinders. Started out to do a valve job and then a ring job but due to unavailability of parts ended up completely rebuilding the engine from the deck up. All engine rebuild work was performed by a professional MC mechanic with 10+ years of experience and engine will need to be broken in just like a new one would. Carbs and petcock were rebuilt. New coils, wires, and plugs were installed to eliminate any potential ignition issues. New battery was installed. Brakes were cleaned and flushed with new pads installed front and rear. Brand new Spitfire smoke windscreen is included as shown in pics. The tank and side covers are near perfect. The seat could pass for new and the exhaust is near perfect also. All systems function as they should and sale will include owner’s manual, tool kit, all documentation for engine work done, mini back rest as seen in pics, grab rail, engine guard, and wind screen. Bike is ready for many miles of happy cruising and needs nothing but a new owner. This is the last of the heavy Honda cruisers in my collection which are being liquidated due to age and health considerations.
