Great numbers matching example of the iconic R75/5. I have owned the bike since ~2000. Since purchasing the bike has been maintained regularly by BMW dealers/service shops,most recently Motorworks in Chicago (tune-up). Overall, in perfect running condition, starts immediately and is a strong runner in all the years I have owned. The reality is bike is much more reliable after 45 years than my 2009 Triumph. Conditon-wise, excellent overall condition. I had the tank and fenders repainted by Roman Cycles in Youngstown, OH in the mid-2000's and there are no flaws in the paint today. Shiny black with no nicks or dents. The only minor faults include - break light surround has some paint missing, the seat piping has a very slight tear, exhaust system chrome is pitted and right mirror thread is stripped...haven't had the chance to repair. Electric and kick start. 53,263 original miles. Includes original tool kit, new points and condenser , foot peg rubber, front fender support and braided gasoline hose spares. New battery purchased and installed September '16. Also includes the original mirrors that are the US versions with the short stems. When I bought the bike, I installed a euro-style flat bar and purchased the proper mirrors. The left long stem mirror is on the bike, the right mirror is also included.
