Reduced! Up for sale is my wife's 2002 Subaru Outback 3.0 H6 Wagon with VDC. I bought this car for her to commute to a college campus in a nearby city. I'm selling her car because I bought her a newer vehicle as a graduation present. This vehicle is taking up garage space as I myself have 2 other vehicles. I drive this car about once week a couple miles to a nearby grocery store to keep the battery charged. I needed a vehicle that would get her there and back safely, in any weather condition, without mechanical failures, get good mileage, and low maintenance costs. This Subaru has performed flawlessly. I enjoy driving this car when my wife isn't using it and fuel economy is in the mid 20's. The chain driven 3.0 liter H6 offers smooth quiet power delivery. The all wheel drive system works seamlessly. I tested it in the winter on snow against my Jeep Wrangler and prefer the Subaru 100%. I bought this vehicle from an Ebay seller out of Ft. Lauderdale and it is a very clean car with no rust. The vehicle has no accidents or evidence of any repainting. I have a clean and clear TN title in hand. This is a fine example of a 15 year old Subaru that has been well taken care of, used, and enjoyed. Keep in mind it is still a 15 year old car with wear and tear and minor scuffs and dings. Below are some details about the vehicle followed by a list of included vehicle equipment and options. Subaru enthusiasts like myself should appreciate it. Service and repairs: When I received the vehicle I had it checked from bumper to bumper and had a few things done: all fluids changed- differentials, transmission drain and fill, brake fluid flush and fill, coolant drain and fill, oil change with Mobile 1 Full Synthetic Extended Performance 15K and filter. Other items: Replaced both front half shafts with OEM Subaru parts, replaced both tail light assemblies with OEM Subaru parts, replaced radiator with cap, upper and lower radiator hoses (changed during initial fluid service), brake rotors and pads on all four wheels, wiper blades, air filter, replaced drivers side sun visor, replaced back seat accessible rear cup-holder assembly on center console. Things needed, or any noticed deficiencies: 1. Tires are the ones that came on the car when I purchased it and have an estimated 35% tread remaining. 2. Oil change is due in about 5,000 miles. 3. I think the passenger side rear wheel bearing needs to be replaced. Options:Driver and passenger lit vanity mirrors, dual sunroof- front tilting and rear sliding, leather interior, power seats, power heated mirrors, auto darkening rear view mirror with built in compass, front and rear defrosters and windshild wiper defroster, McIntosh premium sound system, heated front seats, 60/40 rear folding seats with armrest, power door locks, variable intermittent wipers, rear vents and cup holders, one touch power windows, remote keyless entry and factory alarm system, cruise control, front and rear vents, cabin air filtration, front reading lights, wood and leather steering wheel, automatic climate control, wood trim kit, fog lights, variable intermittent wipers, daytime running lights, dual airbags, four wheel ABS, rear door child safety locks and window lockout, dual front side mounted airbags, electronic brake force distribution and stability control, VDC- vehicle dynamic control, full size spare tire, 16" alloy wheels, one key and remote control. Extra Equipment:If you want the old front half shafts you are welcome to them. They can be rebuilt or sold. I have a new cabin air filter that I have not had the time to install and will include with the car (please remind me). Rear rubber cargo mat- A universal store bought cargo mat (should be pictured), sun shade (pictured), universal all-weather floor mats and original carpet floor mats (pictured), roof rail cross members (pictured), OEM bungee cargo net. I have this vehicle for sale locally and reserve the right to end this listing in the event of a local sale. I am not a dealer or a bank and I do not finance. I do not accept PayPal. I only accept certified funds- Wire transfer, cash, cashier's check, money order. All funds must be cleared by my financial institution before the vehicle or title are released. This is not negotiable, I've encountered too many scammers and refuse to play games. I'll be glad to pick you up at the airport, bus station, etc. If you choose to have the vehicle shipped, I can work with your shipper of choice for pickup of the vehicle, however vehicle transportation arrangements are your responsibility and I will not be a party to any transportation contract. Terms of payment: $500 deposit within 24 hours of bid acceptance and the full balance due within 3 business days. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis due to extenuating circumstances. I expect the vehicle to be picked up with 14 days of payment. You are responsible for your own taxes, title, inspection and registration fees. Trust is a 2 way street: If you have little or no reviews or too many negative reviews I reserve the right to refuse your bid and/or cancel any deal.
