Vehicle Detail
These trucks are truly amazing! 117,000 miles. Turning radius is better than most compact cars but tow capacity approaches 10,000 lbs. This Yukon XL is a true 3/4 ton with 8 lug axles and heavy duty running gear. It is loaded to the max with every option including rear DVD and 8 passenger seating, custom stereo, and backup camera. I have owned it for a couple of years and have spared no expense in making it reliable and comfortable. I have receipts for thousands of dollars on repairs, maintenance, and upgrades. I'll try to list a few. I have priced it to sell quickly. The registration has expired and we just haven't driven it enough. I hate to see it go, but it has so much life in it and someone else would be able to use it. As for the title. This truck was bought back by GMC over 10 years ago under New York's lemon law. This truck has no accident history and runs and drives as good as new. The bumpers, hood, doors, etc are dent free and are all original. When I bought the truck, I called in to a couple of dealers on the buyback. I can't remember specifics, but feel free to investigate how it got returned. From what I remember it was something the customer complained about and the dealer was unable to duplicate. GMC bought it back and resold it. Since then the second and third owner (me) have put the vast majority of the miles. I have never been left stranded. Some states make it easy for a consumer to get out from under a vehicle by saying they couldn't replicate the issue at the dealer. It is leak free and leaves no oil or fluids behind in the garage. It should give the next owner years of trouble free use. Repairs, alterations, improvements: 1. front suspension leveling kit: New keys installed to allow truck to sit level instead of raked as they are from factory. I also installed Cognito heavy duty tie rods, new lower control arms, and Cognito upper control arms to correct the front end for the slight height increase. The front end is basically brand new with less than a couple thousand miles on the entire rebuild. 2. Tires/Wheels: I installed Factory OEM Hummer wheels because they are perfectly matched to these trucks but allow for larger and wider tires. I don't like aftermarket wheels on GM because they are rarely hubcentric and offsets are goofy. These look great. Tires and wheels have maybe 10,000 miles on them. They look new. 3. New rear brakes, fluids 2 years ago. 4. Transmission was checked and fluids and filter done less than 10,000 miles ago. 5. All weather mats through entire truck. Cargo, and seating. Protects against mud and water. Weathertech brand. 6. Custom stereo Kenwood Head unit with apple carplay, dvd, every option, Helix speakers 6, kenwood subwoofer (mounted custom in factory location of previous generation truck. No storage is lost) Kenwood 5 channel amp. System is complemented by dynamat sound dampening through a large portion of truck. This is a $4000 setup and it works seamlessly with the wheel controls. 7. New steering wheel. Feels great and doesn't look worn. 8. Big service. Oil and tranny cooler lines replaced, rear main seal, tranny gasket and engine gasket replaced, front differential rebuilt. Engine mounts replaced, starter, battery, and alternator replaced, etc. This was nearly $4000. I am not charging extra for the fact that truck underwent maintenance. I'm just letting you know that no expense was spared in making sure truck was leak free and reliable. The next owner will save a ton of headache time. There is a bunch of other stuff I could list, but it would likely be easier to answer questions. Thanks for your interest.
