During my time with the FJ I did all of the things to make it run and drive perfectly. Over 3k of receipts for engine work, new shocks and suspension and all systems checked and updated. The 1979 is the year to own with Power Steering and Factory Air conditioning that blows COLD. This is a great daily driver, or if you wanted to paint, it is a great restoration project. I personally like the classic paint look. Very little rust. New front bumper and original tool box in front, new bumperettes and hitch on back. Brand new tires and classic gray rims and hubcaps, it has an amazing look and everyone on the road loves it. Interior carpet is new and seats are in great shape. New shocks all the way around new suspension shocks, drives amazing. If you are looking for a mint condition, perfectly running 4X4 Classic, the Toyota FJ40 is an excellent choice.
