1972 Honda SL 70 K0 Motosport. Up for auction is an extremely nice Honda SL 70 Motosport. I purchased this from a gentleman whose father owned a dealership from the 60's to the 80's. This has been in storage a long time. It has been treated to new paint, new decals, and new seat cover. It was stripped to the bare frame and repainted the correct Honda "Cloud silver". It was then meticulously reassembled, all nuts/bolts/screws either cleaned and polished or replaced and all bearings and axles greased. Chrome is in excellent condition overall, rust free and shiny. Headlight and tail light light up. The engine is a strong running, low hour, 3-speed automatic from a Honda CT 70. The original engine runs, but has an internal transmission issue. It is included in the sale, you can repair or have it repaired if you like. Tnak was flushed, is very clean, petcock cleaned, new gas filter, Carb was cleaned and rebuilt, new spark plug, fresh oil change. Engine starts 1-2 kicks, idles, and runs and shifts well with no smoke or unusual noises. Tires have good tread, and brakes are work properly. These bikes, especially nice ones, as you know are getting harder and harder to find. NADA valued in excellent condition at $2400.00. Title was lost to the years but can be had in any state for varying degrees of ease and fees. It will come with a bill of sale. If this is an issue do not bid. A non refundable $500.00 deposit by PayPal is required within 24 hours of auction's end, and must be paid in full within 5 days, either by Paypal or cash upon pickup. As long as it's paid in full I can store covered indoors for up to 30 days. I will not ship but will make any reasonable effort to assist the shipper of your choice. This is a 45 plus year old motorcycle, of course there is no warranty expressed or implied, what you see is what you get.
