Up for sale is this 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A Flat Fender. We purchased it from a older gentleman in Wisconsin a little over a year ago and have not done anything to it since we bought it. We have decided to sell because we purchased another vehicle. Plans were to redo it. An extra frame comes with the sale. The engine is a 327 Chevy with a Jeep T-90 3 speed transmission and a DYNA 40 transfer case. The front and rear axles are from a 1977 Jeep Wagoner with 3:54 gear ratio. It has power steering (GM Saginaw), power disc brakes on the front and drum brakes on the rear, and a 1968 Olds steering column. The wheels and tires are new with American Racing wheels and 32x11.5x15 tires. The paint is rough with some patina and the bucket seats have some wear and tear. There is no visible rust but I cannot tell what is under the alum panels. The soft top is in good condition. The engine runs and sounds good. It is a handful to drive at higher speeds. Since I purchased this Jeep as is I have no idea on its total mechanical condition. There are a lot of very good parts on this Jeep and it should make a great fun vehicle for someone that is willing to do some TLC to make it good. I will accept a Cashiers Check, or Money Order for payment only. The buyer is responsive to pick up the vehicle and pay all shipping costs within 30 days after the sale. There is no warranty. This sale is "as is where is". A non refundable $500.00 deposit is due at the end of the auction and full payment within 7 days after the auction closes. This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
