1953 NSU Lux, 200cc 2cycle single. Total Cosmo German sheik! (if that's a thing) This is from the golden ago of Euro style, super rare! I have only seen a couple of examples of this bike in my life! This one came to the states a couple years age trough a German picker, it was purchased by him from the Netherlands, it still has the original NL registration, & fitted with the regulation yellow Bosch headlamp (stamped NL). I have had this bike running and it feel great, just it's a far cry from reliable. the ignition system in these thins is horrible. I have replaced the wiring harness, petcock, bulbs (6v) and even had the carburetor rebuilt by "Bing". & new Heidenau tires!!! I have purchased a new "Power Dynamo" 12volt conversion kit made specifically for this bike. I have not installed it, 1. because old electronics feak me out, & 2, if you intend to use this bike a show bike the conversion will be a point deductor. Although it can be installed by a creative professional in a way to hide all of the modern bits (yes the kit comes with the bike!), as well it comes with a host of information and material shown in the last pic! SEE PHOTOS!
