For Sale: 1983 Honda CB1000C with 31,400 original miles. Bike is in overall excellent condition and would probably rate close to a 9 on a 10 point scale. This is beautiful machine and is pretty well loaded except for a radio which it does not have. There are a few very minor scratches on the tank and on the top right exhaust. You really have to hunt to find any others. The suitcases have been professionally repainted, look extremely nice and are completely functional. The pipes are excellent and original and but for some minor pitting and bluing near the rosettes, look very nice and are solid with no holes or leaks. The seat has been newly recovered and has no marks, tears, or blemishes of any kind. The tires are brand new with no miles. Bike has been garage stored as part of my modest collection for approximately 7 years and has recently been brought back to life with the petcock and carbs completely rebuilt. The coils, wires, plugs, and battery are new. The tank has been acid etched and sealed. The engine runs clean, smooth, and strong with no leaks, smoke, or unusual noises. This bike is ready to ride anywhere. I have all the keys and all the locks work perfectly. Also included are the original owner’s manual and tool kit. Sale is due to age and health.
