This 1986 Vanagon GL runs and drives, but needs head gaskets, which is pretty common for these. I have not driven any further than in and out of my shop, but it starts and runs well for the short time I have ran it. All of the doors open and close well and the windows are all good with the exception of the windshield which is cracked. It is about 200 dollars for new glass, so not a big deal. Being a GL, it has several nice options, like Factory A/C and Rear under seat Heater. The belt is not on the compressor, but everything is there, and the overhead fan works well as does the heater fans, front and rear. Lights and wipers work fine. The power windows need looked at as they are not working. Brakes including parking brake work well. Clutch feels great also. Upholstery is not perfect, but pretty decent for the year. Some highlights: · Bilstein shocks all around · New Bosch Fuel Pump and Bosch Filter · New front bumper · New bumper ends all around · Radial tires are a matched set and have lots of tread left · New Oil Cooler Hoses and various other hoses · New Battery · New Rear Hatch Gas Struts · Sony AM/FM CD Player installed, but not hooked up · New Dash Pad As with all used vehicles it will be sold “as-is”, so please ask any questions ahead of time, and please only bid if you have cash in hand. I will need a 500 dollar deposit at the close of the auction by way of PayPal, with the balance due in the form of Cash, Cashiers Check or Bank Transfer within 5 Business Days.
