I purchased this car in February 2005 at 70,100 miles. I have all repair receipts for my term of ownership. I am second owner. The original owner did have an accident that affected the passenger door. I saw no evidence of a poor repair. I had a minor accident in 2012 that required replacement of the driver's side front fender. Bumper, headlights, suspension and grill were NOT affected. Recent repair and service includes: New clutch, flywheel and shifter bushings last summer. New radiator in 2013. New windshield (rock hit) last year. New headliner fabric last year. Water pump and thermostat at 110000 miles. New struts, shocks, control arms, springs (lowered to M3 ride height) in 2012 (approx 120k miles). Front wheel bearings last April. Passenger window regulator sliders replaced last year. New headlight assemblies sometime in the last 5 years. New brake light switch last Fall. Brakes are fairly new, tires are in very good condition. Wheels have a few rim scuffs, but all 4 (15 inch) are straight and balanced. Car comes with a nice cover. The car is in very condition for every day use, all major items are in working order including AC, Heat, 6 disc CD changer, Climate Control, Cruise Control, Windows, Side Mirrors, Rear Defroster and Sunroof. What doesn't work: Heated seats do not work, Front speakers do not sound good (rears are fine), Occasionally ABS light comes on, Air bag light is on. Passenger side rear jacking point is rusted (this is not a structural point). Since purchased, 2nd gear has required a bit more confirmation of position, but all gears shift smoothly up and down in the pattern. All syncros are in good working order. There are a few surface rust spots, some rust at the rear driver's fender arch, some rust on the bottom of the trunk lid and the rusted rear jack point (passenger side). The car is a true sports coupe, pulls well and feels very flat when cornering. Although this model had 170 HP, it accelerates very well and pulls cleanly to the 6000+ redline All of the good and bad have been listed, so please bid with a full appreciation of the listed deficiencies.
