I think you can get this fixed for around $800 in parts. Will need tires in about 5,000 miles or so. This LeSabre is being driven now as of January 12, 2017 but it does need some mechanical attention. I believe the driver's side drive shaft needs replacement due to some vibration over 60 mph when going to the right. No vibration going to the left. It has new wheel bearings and outer tie rods. I think the new wheel bearing on the driver's side and the drive shaft have some play. The struts were replaced at 100K. Brakes are great. The check engine light is on but not sure what it is, the engine is running fine. Also it could use a gasket replacement for the intake manifold and oil pan. There is some leakage of anti-freeze and I add some every couple of weeks, No effect on performance. Also it needs a fuel sender unit as the gauge does not work until you need gas, then it dings and goes to the left position indicating you need gas. I use the odometer to tell when I need gas when it gets to 300 miles and I still have a lot left at that point however. The driver's side heated seat does not work but the passenger side does. But as I said it is drivable right now, but not sure if it would pass inspection as it is. Great deal if you know this car and can do some repairs yourself or have a friend who can do this work.
