Vehicle Detail
1965 Ford Falcon Station Wagon. This is a very clean original car with a fairly recent repaint in its original color of Wimbleton White. It also has had new bumpers installed, the brake system was gone through along with the fuel system. The trim is in very nice condition. The rear window rolls up and down easily and just as it should. No electric motors to go bad just the old school dependable manual crank. The interior is mostly original with the exception of a custom carpet from front to back. The driver's seat does have a tear in the center but is a fairly easy fix which should only cost about $200. The rest of the interior is in really nice original condition. The car is very solid and rust free with the exception of a very small area in the driver's side floor pan (see photo). Its such a small area that it really wouldn't need to be addressed right away but its would be good to fix it before it gets any larger. When the car was painted it did have repair work done on the rear spare tire well but it was done correctly with sheet metal and finished off properly (see photo). In case your wondering that is soap on the gas tank in the one picture. The 200 6 cylinder engine never fails to start and run well. The transmission shifts through all the gears cleanly and smoothly and the entire drive train is nice and quiet. It also has power steering which is an unusual option for these cars. It works as it should and I haven't seen any leaks in the system. The car runs and drives great and has been lowered about an 1.5 inches all around which gives it a really nice stance. It never fails to get thumbs up every time I drive it. This car seems to have been well maintained throughout its life and has given me no issue in the time I've been driving it. It goes without saying that this would be a great candidate for a V8 swap but its a lot of fun with the 200 6 cylinder as well. Please look at all the photos below and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. The car is available for inspection to any interested parties who can get to see the car before the ad runs out. Thanks for looking!
