1965 Mustang Convertible 289ci C code with automatic console shift. Just completed restoration in 2016 and ready to drive and show. Exterior has been finished in original ford code turquoise metallic. Paint is high quality PPG base coat clear coat and completely color sanded an polished. Interior has deluxe door panels, pony seats, am/fm stereo, dash is perfect and console shifter. Has an original wood grain Ford sport steering wheel in excellent condition, real Ford Rally Pac with Tachometer and clock. Trunk compartment has a carpet kit installed to protect luggage ect. Engine is the C code 289 with an Edelbrock intake and 4bbl carb, electronic ignition, ceramic coated Hooker Headers, one wire alternator and complete new wiring harness. Aluminum radiator, power steering. 4 wheel disc brakes installed and new BFG radials on new 15 inch rims. Rear differential is the original 2.80 ratio. Dual exhaust with stainless mufflers. Convertible top is power actuated. Many GT options were added during time of restoration see photos for more description. This car was not built on a budget and was done to be a reliable drive to the show vehicle. No rust issues and never has been any on this car, underside still has the factory undercoating and in some areas the red oxide primer is still visible. Mainly a southwest states vehical.
