1988 Mercedes Benz 300te wagon. Easy restoration or parts car. The true mileage is unknown, the odometer stopped working at 206,227 Selling AS IS . Runs and drives but will require mild restoration. The undercarriage is solid but the rocker panels need repair around the jacking supports. The paint is good but the clear coat is starting to peel in various areas. The tailgate had some rust so I sanded and sprayed with Plasti dip, it has been rust free now for three years. The tailgate rubber seal is worn and allow water leaks. The rear shocks are good and do not leak, but will need the two associated air cell accumulator nitrogen chambers replaced to restore a firm ride, the car bounces in the rear presently. Heat works well, but the air conditioning does not. The floor carpets have been removed but will be included. Though this is a 28 year old car it is still a fairly easy restore and should include engine and trans reconditioning along with minor body work. All sales are final
