This 1964 Ford Thunderbird Landau (2 dr) hardtop belongs to my mother and I am helping her sell it. I have posted this car for sale during the past month but have new paperwork regarding its condition and items repaired in the past 2 years. The car is in fair condition but not a "daily driver" if that is what you are looking for. The car starts and drives and would be a great buy for someone who wants to take a car to the next level. I do not know the actual mileage on the engine due to problems with the odometer. There is a split in the dash on top due to sun exposure. She used an insert to cover the dash which hides the split which you will probably want to replace because it is personalized. An automotive repair shop reviewed the car in mid-2014 and noted a number of items that needed to be fixed. The biggest issue is with the engine as it runs rough and has excessive knocking noise. They performed a compression test and found that cylinders #5 and #7 had only 5 psi and 30 psi respectively. All other cylinders were in the 145 to 150 psi level. Engine was burning oil badly and knocking noise was coming from worn out rocker arms and shaft.
