1986 Honda Gold Wing

This is a rare 1986 GL1200 SEi. It was rescued a few years back and made to drive again. The good news! It has had replaced in the last two years stator, battery, starter, timing belts (2000 miles ago), and drive shaft u-joint. The bad news, it's a 1980s vintage bike and the systems were made of plastic components; if it is a non-essential system like the radio, cb, and the like are dead. It also smokes if it has been sitting a while but clears up straight away. The horn also doesn't work, it did but it stopped working and I never have taken the time to chase it down. However, the bike does work and it's just good old running bike. The body is in good shape with some road rash on the upper right of the fairing; hand painted art is still good with the artisit initials still visible on the gas cover. The wind wings on the side still have the peace pipe etching on them. This will make a great winter project.
