Need to sell my baby :( 2004 Mercedes SL 500. Very fast car. Excellent condition. Brand new set of 4 all-weather tires with high snow traction rating. New brakes, alternator, belt, ABC pump, spoiler and upgraded grill. Transmission serviced this summer, as well as regular full synthetic oil changes. Convertible top is currently NOT retracting automatically, but the retractor motor itself is good. An electrical sensor or switch is preventing full retraction. (there is a manual procedure). There is a small scratch and tear (aprox 2 inch) in the seat of the driver's side from the back button of my pants. The steering wheel has some wear that I have put suede covers on. Other than that the interior is impeccable for the age of the car. The rotors and brake pads were recently replaced by an Indy mechanic who could not reset the Mercedes brake info messages, but brakes are brand new and working perfectly. This vehicle was part of a manufactures buy-back in California in 2005 but was completely refurbished and has been running flawlessly for the past 11 years. Never been in an accident. Treated like a princess. I'm an honest person and certainly not out to rip anyone off. This car truly is my prize possession and will bring much joy to her new owner. All receipts available from local, trusted mechanics that are familiar with the car and can be verified. NADA book value is $17,000 for this year and mileage.
