Vehicle Detail
Please do not bid on the car if you plan on retracting your bid when you realize you do not have the money to pay for it. 1967 Chevy 2 II Nova I have added some pictures of what your project could look like when complete if you decide to make a gasser, I have also added some pictures of what your project could look like if you decided to restore the car to original. The car was originally blue as shown in the attached picture of the restored car. Here is what you are getting: 1967 Chevy II project with a clear Ohio title and correct VIN tags still in place. I was going to make a gasser or L79 327 / 350 H.P. car out of it, but simply have too many projects to ever get to it. The car was taken off of the streets in the early 70's to make a race car out of, but the person died before getting that far on the project. It is a very solid body with very little rust. The original back quarters are nice, I have taken a picture of the underside of each quarter showing the round hole where the rubber plug goes which is usually completely gone on a lot of cars. The trunk lid and trunk area are perfect and do not have any holes. The doors are perfect, I have taken a picture of the underside of each door showing there is zero growing rust on the bottom of the doors. The rockers are perfect with zero holes. The car did leak water at some point in its life and there is a hole where your feet are on the drivers side. This is fairly common because the rubber mats in the cars did not let the water dry up. There is also a rust hole on each back side floor board about 1" x 8". As far as I know everything is there to put the car back together except the front fenders. I hadn't picked up a set of front fenders because I couldn't make up my mind if I liked 66 or 67 fenders better. The car comes with a vintage set of Cragar mags. Two of these wheels are the older non-unilug type mags that are period correct for the car. The car can be stored inside for up to one year if paid in full. How many 67 Novas do not need quarters, doors, or rockers? The car comes with a nice running 327 engine as shown and a factory Chevy II recessed oil filter block if you want to make a four speed car out of it. The car also comes with a 350 turbo transmission. The car still has the original 10 bolt rear end in it. Just let me know if you want to see additional pictures of any area. If you are local feel free to come and look at it anytime before bidding. I have no idea how many miles are actually on the car. The 327 engine and 350 turbo transmission out of the car shown in this video will be taken out and included with the car being sold with this auction.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0BPTYx5qfMThere are also a few pictures of the engine attached. The engine will be complete from pan to intake, but no carburetor. The engine has camel hump heads and a picture of the pad is shown. There is a little rust on the side cowl panels that must have held water at sometime, but you can buy these new for $49.99 from Classic Industries as shown below. You can also get floor pan sections or a complete pan from this same company. http://www.classicindustries.com/product/nova/parts/14712.html14712 - 1966-67 Chevy II / Nova Outer Side Cowl Panel RHFactory-style replacement outer cowl panel for 1966-67 Chevy II/Nova models.
