Vehicle Detail

Fully built 2005 Torrid Red GTO, built to be driven/enjoyed daily. The overall theme of the build is reliability, longevity, and greater-than-stock-power, and it makes 570hp/525tq at the wheels as a result. Not a max HP build and never chased any magic numbers, so power was left on the table in lieu of dependability and daily use. Receipts for all work Currently located at Naval Station Great Lakes, but can meet in the Southern IL/Carbondale area. Sits at 146k miles, bought used in 2008 with 32,000 miles from a Chicago area dealership. Clean title in-hand, never been wrecked. At 125K it was burning more oil than I liked, so decided to upgrade with the intent of never selling: TSP 402 stroker block with LS9 cam, PRC LS3 cylinder heads with upgraded valvetrain 64lb fuel injectors with Dueschwerx 320 l/h fuel pump CTS-V supercharger with intercooler, custom-built overflow tank, and Bosch 317GPH pump LS3 front accessory drive conversion (new water pump, power steering pump, a/c condensor, etc.) Finish Line Transmissions Street Performance T-56 with MGW-P short throw shifter and knob Dual disc Monster LT-1 clutch with Tick M/C and remote bleeder, stainless braided lines Dynatech 1 3/4" headers w/catless mids, 3" Magnaflow exhaust, QTP dual electric exhaust cutouts GForce 1320 Level 2 Anti-Wheel Hop half shafts TruTrac differential with 3.91 gears and upgraded inner/outer stubs, Harrop diff cover BMR lightweight skid plate One piece DSS aluminum driveshaft 3" VFN fiberglass cowl hood (required to clear the blower) Mishimoto aluminum radiator with silicon hoses Kenwood DNX 6140 DVD/NAV/satellite radio SpeedHut color/font-matched vacuum/boost/wideband AFR gauges with Innovate LC2 controller Valentine One Radar detector with remote audio and concealed display Goldilocks splitter currently installed with an additional flat Bohnman splitter King HHD front 0.5" lowering springs and Kings HD 1" rear lower springs Monroe GTS struts/shocks with Whiteline poly mounts 19x8 2010 Camaro SS polished aluminum wheels bored for a hub-centric fit Continental Extreme DWS 245/35 ZR19's with less than 10k miles on them Pedders front LCA's w/polyurethane, radius rod bushings, body mount bushings BMR welded subframe connectors Custom "402 GTO 6.6 liter" side badges, with "6.6" trunk badge Replacement metal Pontiac arrowheads front and rear. DBA 4000 rotors and Hawks HPS brake pads Entire front clip was repainted for the new hood 6 months ago, otherwise paint is an 8.5 out of 10. Receipts for EVERYTHING. Latest build completed by Level 7 Motorsports in Southern IL. Video of car idling and walk-around: https://youtu.be/hi3QS26u6O0 Current issues with the car that have been factored into the asking price: -Clunk from front end (likely a bad end link or sway bar bushing) -Cruise control not currently functioning (likely due to LED bulbs in tail lights/turn signals) -Minor interior wear on driver seat and typical upper seam separation on rear seats I would not hesitate to drive the car anywhere in the US as it sits. It is capable of 28mpg when cruising on the highway and is still a comfortable car to drive
