Up for auction is a garage kept Honda CX650C Motorcycle with 4,300 actual miles on it! This bike was produced only in 1983, so it’s truly unique in Honda’s line of cruiser style motorcycles. Being an avid appreciator of the design & style of this machine, I’ve done my utmost to keep it well preserved. Because of its low mileage, there are no known mechanical issues & the engine runs well. The carburetors are free of crud buildup, and the front hydraulic brake system is clean as well. Everything is original on the Honda, including the Hondaline sissy bar & rear rack. There’s even some of the factory blue coating left on the Dunlop Qualifier white lettered tires; with no signs of tire deterioration. All of the chrome & the engine bright work is in great condition, as well as the seat upholstery. The candy wineberry paint is still bright & glossy, but after 33 years there is some slight sun fading and a few minor scratches. Overall this motorcycle is in amazingly nice condition & never fails to get “Hey man, nice bike!” compliments. It’s also important to mention that the CX has never been laid down & has never sustained collision damage. It is also rust free, including the gas tank internals. You may well ask “If this bike is so great, why is he selling it?” Well, the answer is pretty simple. I’ve decided to act on a nagging conviction that it’s time to quit riding on two wheels. Even though I’m still a bit reluctant to do so, I’m making the Honda available for someone else to enjoy.
