I am relisting my 1979 Ford F-250 because once again the person that was supposed to buy it backed out, this is the 3rd time this has happen. I did not rebuild the truck so i am listing what i know and being as honest as i can. Truck is about 80% restored, i am 3rd owner, new body panels, fenders and paint, the guy that built the truck said he used very light bondo as most do as filler on back fenders and where he needed to, on one of the back fenders above back wheel there is a little bubble i see in the paint not rotting thru at all just surface is the only spot on entire truck that showing any sign of taking a look at, there is a new clutch, 400m engine was rebuilt from 4 bbl holley carb to oil pan and bored 30 over with a decent size cam in it only has a couple hundred miles since rebuild, new battery, 23,000 showing for mileage, i am guessing it has 123,000 on truck, new ceramic headers and 3" exhaust sounds really good! Has billet grill in it, i do have original grill in really nice shape that will go with sale, new rear bumper that needs to be mounted on. Brand new Mickey Thomson bead lock rims and 35" tires. I will sell truck without tires and wheels for a cheeper amount that will need to be negotiated. Truck needs very little outside work and some interior work to finish restoration. Trucks steering needs to be tightened up it does drive ok maybe needs new sway bar but needs to be tightened up. It does have new seat, rug, headliner, set up for air conditioning new compressor needs to be ran through fire wall and hooked up. Everything underneath of truck is in like new condition. rhino lined inside of box and underneath of truck. Good amount of extra parts will go with sale. Lost interest in project and building new home reason for selling. I purchased the truck a few months ago in west virginia off of a guy that restored the truck, he purchased the truck off of an older man it was used on golf course until he restored it. I never put it on the road never got around to doing so but truck runs well i did drive it up the road a few times just to run it. With a little TLC this truck could be really nice, its a very solid truck in really nice shape. I know what these trucks are going for in decent shape so my asking price is fair for the amount of money, time and the condition the truck is in.
