Up for sale as we have recently bought a house after moving across from the Uk last year and I need something more practical, so sadly my Porsche is up for sale. We had 3 boxsters in the UK before moving here of various ages, it has been a dream to own a 911, and it has been every bit as good as I had hoped. The benefit of the 4 seats has even allowed our two small boys to come along for the ride! We have only owned since November, we had plans to rent for another year, but ended up finding a house we love so plans changed. The car is in the condition you would expect for a high mileage car that is 14 years old, it has been a daily driver for me, and was the same for the previous owner. There is no rust and it is tight to drive, but cosmetically it wont win any competitions. Some key points:The interior is all original, including the stereoThe stereo is the high spec BOSE version, I have added an ipod input instead of the CD changer, but the changer is still presentThe seats are electric and heatedThe car is a manual, very important for us, and makes finding a replacement wagon or pickup very tough!Wheels are genuine Porsche Turbo Twists in 18", they are plasticote'd in dark grey as I fancied a change, this is easily peeled off to revert to stock, the wheels do have some curbing.A set of winter wheels (not Porsche but correct size and offset) with Bridgestone Blizzaks tires are included, they have at least another winter of life in themThe roofbars are not included except by negotiation, they were imported especially from the UK as Thule does not sell the fitting kits here in the US, as you can see its a practical coupeThe car has the Porsche Sports Exhaust, PSE, as an earlier car this does not have the override switch on the dash and is speed/rev actuated and sounds fantasticAs the C4S it has the widebody turbo look, along with Turbo chassis, suspension (C4S specific strut/spring tune), wheels and brakes.Mechanically as far as I can tell the car is in good working order, with the following details:Oil and filters have been changed regularly by myself, including inspection of the filter every time, no metallic particles foundAll transmission and diff fluids changed at 134K miles for correct mobil 1 fluidsThe clutch is biting nice and low, there is a hardly noticeable vibration in the clutch pedal, I'm not sure about any possible cause, but would rather mention it for completenessThe IMS bearing has been done, well this is what the previous owner told me, but never gave me paperwork, mistake on my part, so you have to assume that it has not been done unfortunatelyThe car does not drip oilTires all all in very good condition, >3/16" on the front and >1/4" on the rearsThere is a slight whine (not present when the accessory belt is removed), and there is slight play in the upper tensioner, so this needs doing at leastAC does not work, I think this is a front rad as when I cleared out the leaves it was slightly oily indicating a leak, I have now added grills to prevent leaf ingestionIn terms of what needs doing in the near future over and above above mechanical notes:Rear brake pads are nearly worn out, a new set are included in the priceThats it...I don't have history for the car before my ownership, i have kept all my paperwork though. you'll need to drive the car and decide for yourself, and I'm happy to allow any test drive with suitable deposit or leaving your car with me.
