Vehicle Detail
I have for sale a 1969 Dodge Superbee A12 tribute. Started life as a Coronet 440. Has a 1969 cast 383 HP block with all the correct goodies. HP exhaust manifolds, open element air cleaner with correct pie tin, edelbrock RPM intake manifold and an Edelbrock 650 AVS four barrel carb, has a cam that gives it a little lope at idle. 26" Mopar radiator. A-833 4 speed manual transmission running to a 489 case 8 3/4 sure grip rearend. 2 1/2" exhaust through a pair of Thrush glasspacks. Most of the interior has been gone through and is more than presentable. Seat upholstery, carpet, headliner, dash pad etc has been replaced. Has the rare sport wheel in it and is in excellent shape. Original AM radio in good working condition with a new dash speaker. All gauges function, speedometer, fuel gauge, oil light, temp gauge, charge meter etc. Heater, blower motor, wipers all in working order. Engine has been completely disassembled, painted and detailed as you can see. This is a 100% complete running driving vehicle. Starts up and doesn't knock, smoke, clatter or anything of that nature. Looks to have been made a tribute many years ago and very much looks like an original survivor car. Personally, I love the "weathered" look this car has. No worrying about where to park it or getting a rock chip, just get in and cruise worry free. If someone were to go through the car, it will probably need both quarter panels replaced as well as a LR rail end. The rest of the body is pretty nice. The area around the rear glass is very solid (known rust area for B bodies) also the rockers and lower fenders appear to be solid as well. Floor pans are decent but the drivers front has been patched and will need to be replaced to appear OEM. This thing fires up every time, is a blast to drive and listening to the Mopar big block breathe through a set of glasspacks is indescribable. Tires are Firestone Indy 500 radials and have plenty of tread. 215/70/15's up front and meaty 275/60/15's out back. I do have the rear armrests as well as new rear armrest base's that come with the car as well as a new package tray and an AMD trunk lock support. Also included in the sale is a pair of headliner earmuffs. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding as the car is 47 years old and will be sold as-is. An immediate $500 non refundable deposit will be required within 24 hours after end of auction. Please do not bid if you do not have the funds. As I said I will answer any questions or take any additional pictures you would like and will be as honest as I can be with this vehicle. You are more than welcome to schedule a time to look at the car in person. Copy and paste the Youtube video links below for a ride along in the car as well as a start up and idle video. I will be glad to assist in whatever way I can to have the car shipped anywhere in the continental U.S. if need be. Sorry, no international shipping. Have a clean IL title in hand in my name. Good luck and happy bidding! https://youtu.be/X8dqzcs0Tw8 https://youtu.be/DzRVFTfDwEQ https://youtu.be/Z4iThBsEgQA On Aug-21-16 at 18:39:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Just want to clarify, this is a Super Bee tribute car. It is actually a Coronet 440.
