72 vw bug. Newly rebuilt motor,vw paradise did the lower end, line bore, new bearings, rods, cam bearings and then I installed new pistons and cylinders and the new heads and all the metal. I got a new 34 pict carb for reliability and ease. This is not my first rodeo, I have been working on 356 porsches and vw for 40 plus years.The car has almost new tires on nice riviera wheels. The transmission was totally rebuilt by Jim Bennett ( the premier vw trans rebuilder around San Diego) The interior looks great, fairly new upholstery all the way around. It has a great sounding sport muffler from Pacific JBugs. This car is ready to run for a long long time and the beauty of this car is that it does not go down in value while you put all the miles on. The trunk and engine compartment are really clean (not show clean) It has the nice aluminum expensive running boards and just looks right. The speedo works and says 80k I can not vouch for the accuracy and strongly suspect that it is not original.
