Great car has been over maintained. I'm the third owner and bought this car over 9 years ago. It stays stored and covered in the garage when not in use. AC is ice cold, car drives great, original stereo works good, brakes are recent, tires replaced within a few thousand miles with wheel spacers added. The top was replaced with a glass window top professionally installed by GAHH. Leather in great condition with minimal wear in the interior. Professional clutch service included new clutch along with air/oil separator, fuel pump, water pump, belts and tensioners and most importantly.....the LN Engineering IMS bearing solution. If you know these cars, you know what that means. Lots of records (1" or more) going back past my ownership. Car includes cover and a box of spares, such as the original tail lights and other miscellaneous goodies. Title is clear, in my name and in my hands. I have not had any paintwork done to the car and believe the paint to be original. There are no dents, but there is minor amounts of scratches, rock chips and a few dings. I would say these are minimal and very reasonable on a 20 year old car. I have pictured the two worst damages in the ad, a scratch on the driver's door and a scratch on the passenger rear quarter panel. The car is not driven in bad weather and it goes in a garage at both my office and my home. The power top, transmission and motor works perfectly, the top goes up or down in around 12 seconds. I am very careful getting in and out of the car so as to not wear the driver's side bolster. Look at the other Boxster ads and you will see what I mean. Not a lot of direct on drivers seat photos out there for a reason. A few years ago I had the dashboard computer turned on and added the 4 stalk turn signal indicator. All Boxsters came with the computer, but not the stalk which controls it. I added the stalk and now I get exterior temp, miles to empty, mpg and a few other features that I have forgotten. The car has the original engine, which does not burn or leak anything. The car has been well maintained with annual synthetic oil changes, sometimes with only a thousand miles between the changes. Again, the oil is changed annually, not on a mileage basis as the car is not used much. This spring I also put a new battery in it and replaced an o2 sensor. The Autocheck shows 4 owners, but there has only been 3. I moved states for work and I believe they are counting my move as one of the owners. I rounded the mileage up for the ad and this has created much discussion. The actual mileage as I type this is 58,498. I have two test drives scheduled, so that will increase.
