This is a 1958 chevy 2-Door Hardtop Sport Coupe Impala. It was manufactured in St. Louis,Mo. This car belonged to my father. It was his dream car. I have kept it in my garage for six years because I could not stand to part with it. It's time to move on. My father was the third owner of the car. I still correspond with the second owner of the car. I know that my father took good care of the car as well as the second owner. I say all that to say in that time it has always been garage kept. I drive the car at least once a week in my subdivision. car has not been restored, it is a "survivor car". However it is a solid body with little to no visible rust. It is a matching numbers car with the exception of the interior. Upon my research I discovered that the interior was originally cloth...unless I misread the vin decoder. The car is a solid car. It runs just fine. In 2012 while i was deployed I had the glass replaced. The paint looks good on the car, however if i were going to keep it that would be the first thing I would do. I have a family now and can not give it the attention it deserves. It is a beautiful car. Its not my style however. If i were to keep it i'd want to "hot rod" it. That being said it'd be a shame given the original nature of the car. The trunk space is solid just like the rest of the car. I will answer all questions. Car is sold AS IS and WHERE is.
