Ford E0150 Econoline hi-top Sherrod custom conversion van for sale loaded with extras. Silver exterior, alloys, gray interior with velour seats and black/charcoal carpet. 2004 with under 160k miles on the clock - much of it long distance. We have done many journeys up and down east coast since buying it so lots of highway miles. These are great vehicles, real workhorses, famously reliable engine, cheap for parts. If you are looking at this listing you already know a dealer would ask a lot more for it than our no-reserve starting point, but we have to have it off our hands by August 11 so it must go. High top adds to comfortable rear passenger experience and is very useful for parents moving from front to back to deal with kids. Lots of well thought-out design features like cupholders galore throughout (just the front console alone has four multisized ones - ridiculously useful! everyone in the back gets one too!). Conversion done originally by the high-end custom van brand Sherrod. Format is front buckets, second row 2 captains seats, third row bench for a total of 7 seats plus sizeable cargo area. Check out the list of optional extras on here: High topRemote start Integrated AV system - TV, VCR and DVD (DVD player not functioning) - TBH we just use a cable to play video through the TV from our iphones or ipads so it hasn't been worth it to bother with the DVD player. We use the TV ALL THE TIME with kids, it is awesome for keeping them happy on journeys!!Multi disc CD changer in dash Wireless headphone rig (so those in the back can watch video with sound through headphones while front passengers don't have to listen) - headphones are missing their foam ear pads Push button controlled back bench seat recline/move functionFully fitted custom blinds throughougt Disabling alarm (actual alarm has been silenced but it does immobilize and make lights flash)Interior reading lights - some issues with these, front two won't turn off and sometimes they all flicker on or off while drivingTow hitch installed during our ownership, in our case for taking extra luggage on one of those shelf things but it's geared up to tow whatever you want Of course it also has power brakes, power steering, power driver's seat, AC with front and rear fans (the front fan has always been intermittent when AC is on, we are not sure if this is a design issue or a fault as it has been like that since we've owned it). AC is cold and is keeping up with NC summer weather. Exterior has paint wear on high top and foot bars, there are blemishes here and there commensurate with age. There is a dimple in front corner near hood and a divet on back bumper which has been there since before we bought it. Interior condition is commensurate with age of vehicle. I'd say overall it looks OK particularly if you are going for family use. If you want it pristine the seat covers are replaceable. More photos will be posted for an objective sense of the condition soon. improvements done in June include: New back brake discs/rotors Resurfaced front brake discs/rotorsNew brake pads all round Four matching tires look OK - 7k miles done since installation. Last summer brake lights were acting funny and we had a new master cylinder and brake service/fluids 11k miles ago. Occasionally ABS light comes on when start car up then goes away.This van is be sold with a fresh NC state inspection - it's booked in for August 2nd. Inspection and test drive welcome! Captains chairs and left side of back bench have scuffing from our kids car seats into the velour so try and have a good look at pictures to assess them. Driver and passenger seats are not affected in that way. All blinds functioning so I took pics of them up and down. Four matching tires are now photographed plus a picture showing good tread. Carpets do have some fading. Captains chairs do not swivel. Photos also now better show back bumper and front passenger side issues already mentioned. Van passed state inspection this week during so you get a totally fresh NC inspection on it.
