Here's the deal. Transmission is locked up and the rear tire won't rotate. Engine will start with clutch lever pulled in but stops running when the handle is released because nothing will rotate in the transmission. I'm 76 years old and replacing the transmission is a bigger job than what I want to attempt. AND I don't have the money to hire it done. So, I'm offering the bike for sale as a parts bike. The parts from this bike should match an '02, '03, and an '04 LT. Engine just had a valve check and all are in spec, I rode this bike daily and went about 20,000 a year so it hasn't been sitting. I do believe the "O" ring and or the rear engine seal is leaking a little oil. Tupperware is above average and so is the chrome. Chrome on the bags aren't scratched, Seats are good,good parabellum windscreen, front tire has a few thousand miles left but I'm afraid the rear tire will have a flat spot on it since my slide when the tranny locked up was about 75 feet.(see pic) I did keep the bike upright. I think I was going about 50 when I down shifted into 4th due to a truck pulling up to the road in front of me. I'm keeping the beads on the seat and the cup holder. Ask questions if I didn't get them answered in the above paragraph. I'm going to keep the bike on the trailer as pictured until I see if I get a bid. Just in case I need to haul it to the buyer. (200 miles FREE or buyer can pick up at my house. I will not ship.) I really want someone else to part this bike out OR fix/replace the transmission. Thanks for Looking/Bidding. Vern
