I have for sale my 1978 Suzuki GS1000E Skunk with rare Dunstall Fairing Kit and Zero Racing seat. This is running bike with clear title. The previous owner installed a front end off a 1999 Honda VTR1000 Superhawk, a 1982 GS1100 aluminum rear swingarm with a brace from a 1998 Hinda CBR900RR welded on, a offset sprocket to clear the 4.5” CBR600 F3 rear wheel with 160 rear tire. 4 into 1 Kerker pipe. Rare complete late 70’s Dunstall Café Racer kit including fairing and rear sets. It has rare Yoshimura rear shocks and the unobtainium period Zero Racing seat, of which I’ve only ever seen two others ever and that is in immaculate condition. This is a rideable project. It runs fine but is jetted for the Midwest where I originally obtained it. The original tank has been coated inside and holds gas fine but the bottom metal is paper thin. Included in the sale is a dry, very solid, straight rust-free stock tank that merely need repainting and installed. The front fork seals are leaking and need replaced, brakes need bled and the front end needs to be raised in the triple tress a couple inches to make it more comfortable to ride without bottoming out in the pips. Other than that, you can unleash your inner Mad Max/Toecutter on this bike or choose to clean it up and make it nice.
