Vehicle Detail
I am selling my family's Acura MDX. Its a great driver and whomever purchases it will be happy for many miles to come. We purchased this car in 2008 with 98,000 miles on it, just prior to our purchasing the car the transmission was replaced by Honda. We have maintained the car as required including routine maintenance, tires, suspension componants and an alternator. We have had essentially zero issues with this car during our ownership, and I feel confident you could jump in the car and drive across the country as she stands. In an effort to be absolutely upfront and transparent about the cars defects I have made a list of ever single thing I could think of if you for example wanted to make this a concours MDX... - Body dings, chips and dents -- As you can see there are some scrapes dings and dents to the body, although nothing major and no body rust the MDX is not a beauty contest winner - Navigation & Radio -- The Navigation unit flickers and frequently does not turn on, the radio turns on fine but requests a security code that we cannot find anywhere, although both of these could be fixed, they currently do not work - Drive indicator light -- You know the little light that reads "D" when the car is in drive on the dashboard, that light does not illuminate - AC - The Airconditioning works fine, but there is some sort of debris that comes out of the passenger side, I think a chipmunk made its way in there over the winter and left some straw. I imagine this is as easy to fix as just pulling it out, I have not done this because I frankly don't prefer AC and we have 5 other cars (which my wife does not really like) - Wiper Blades -- These work, but could be replaced - Parking Brake -- It holds fine even on moderate slopes but on a real tilt it will not stick... its an automatic so this really makes no difference but just noting. Other than the above issues the car really runs well, but it does have 185k miles so I would expect to have some repairs over the remainder of the ownership. The engine, transmission are working very well (as intended), it has newer tires (tons of tread left) and was maintained as required over the last 8 years. The only reason we are selling it is because we simply do not need it any more. This is a $1 No Reserve auction so the highest bidder wins. Best of luck. $100 non refundable deposit required within 24 hours
