(PLEASE READ) The GOOD :This all original, never modified 1986 Pontiac Trans Am has every option that could be ordered, 3 of them are major options that other Trans Ams Ive seen for sale on Ebay and other webs sites don't have. T-tops, how mant F-body Trans ams just don't have them, this is not a fun car without T-Tops! This car does. The 210H.P TPI engine, this is a torque powerhouse, the only engine with more power that year was the Corvette! And 3rd... a posi traction rear with disc brakes. Again this is a top of the line option only found in the Trans Am GTA and the WS6 Trans ams. The lowdown: the engine runs fantastic, has no leaks, blows no smoke, it does need an oil change and probably a tune up. the transmission shifts perfect, firm solid shifts, it doesn't slip or leak oil, the front end is solid, tight, the handling is excellent, the struts and shocks are good. The car drives unbelievably great, the exhaust is tight and has no leaks and has a nice factory rumble, I don't want to stop driving it, lots of fun, however I have to many cars and one is a corvette, so I can't really jusify keeping it. All the lights, blinkers and electronic components work properly. The A/C is all there but does not work. All the gauges lite and work properly. The Bad: the paint is shot, the interior needs carpet, door panels and seats need to be recovered. I got this car from a customer, i have no history on it other than what i see. It has a clean title. Their are some extra parts inside the car that are included. This car is being sold AS-IS.
