Vehicle Detail

1971 Camaro Z28 Tribute (Base Camaro) See it live on YouTube: https://youtu.be/_9zXL9L9V1s Super solid car, painted in 2012 time frame with a new hood. At the same time, new slotted/drilled rotors were installed as well as rear calipers, interior was freshened up and all new weatherstripping was installed. Also, new wheels and tires were installed. Shortly after it was completed and on the road, the engine blew a head gasket and sat for several years before being recently completely rebuilt and re-installed. It was detailed before listing. Body/Exterior/Structure Super solid structure with what appears to be the original quarters, rockers, fenders and doors. Very little body filler in rear lower quarters and rocker area in front of wheels and bottom corner of doors. Floors, frame and trunk (although trunk did have some moisture in it) are all solid with no known holes. The subrames do have a frame tie that links the front and rear subrame to help support during intense driving. Bottom of the doors are super solid. Only one spot of rust which is shown in the photos and is on the lower driver's side door and the door seam. There is a chip in the middle of the passenger door (about .250") and there is a chip a the edge of the passenger door where it meets the fender (on the edge, and about .750" long by .125" approx.). Both are touched up with the original paint, but do show. Driver's side door weatherstripping is missing. Paint shines well. Engine/Transmission/Drive Train Very strong engine. Completely built with a cam, solid lifters and performance pistons (over $6,000). Serpentine belt set-up was installed to replace the outdated v-belt system. Runs and drive extremely strong. Rear end is a 10 bolt posi setup. Air shocks are installed in the rear with standard shocks on the front. Interior Interior is presentable, but to be nice, should be replaced. The door panels are scratched and peeling in some cases, the driver's side seat is split in the seat panel and there are numerous small cracks in the front seats. The stereo is inoperable as well as the windshield wipes and heater blower motor. Windshield and Rear Window is fogged some around the edges. Interior lights do not work. General Car runs super strong and is ready to drive now. However, I would bleed the brakes and go thru the lighting (headlights, taillights, turn signals, dash/courtesy/dome lights, etc to make sure they are working. The car would make a great toy to cruise or could be a super track SCCA Car. I am listing the car for a close friend, and have done the best I can to accurately represent the condition of the car. The car is being sold as is, where is and there is no warranty of any kind - written, expressed or implied otherwise. We will work with the buyer's shipping carriers to accommodate pick up after payment in full. On Jul-17-16 at 17:49:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Gas tank has been replaced and the exhaust system is newer. Rear bumper chrome is foggy. On Jul-18-16 at 09:48:43 PDT, seller added the following information: To answer a few questions submitted 1.) Subframe Ties: These are bolt on and can be removed. Their function is to simulate a full frame on subframe cars, and are used in performance vehicles. They can easily be removed. 2.) Tires/Wheel Size. Wheels are 18X10 on rear and 18X8 on front. 3.) Paint. Car was disassembled, epoxy primed and basecoat/clearcoat Dupont paint was applied. On Jul-21-16 at 17:52:11 PDT, seller added the following information: For the BUY IT NOW PRICE, the owner will SHIP the car FREE OF CHARGE to buyers in the Continental U.S. This offer is available only when the BUY IT NOW is active.
