SELLING WITH NO RESERVE - HIGHEST BID WINS! What a great car! I bought this Thing off a buddy of mine who got it from the original owner a few years ago. We had big plans to tow it behind the RV and travel across the country this summer. Life has other plans for us now so, we have sold the RV and here goes the Thing. This Thing has no rust. It is a solid California raised car with no issues. The engine and transmission were rebuilt about 3000 miles ago. The top and side window are new Thing Shop style upgraded versions. A few other upgrades have been made from original. The fenders were replaced with the larger ones to accept bigger tires and they really do well on the road and at the beach. The exhaust system was upgraded for better performance. A good sound system was added with a hidden antenna and the front seats were replaced with bigger and softer leather kind ones. These upgrades make driving the Thing much more enjoyable. I have the original style fenders, seats, rear bumper, and a box of other misc parts, papers, and related books that will go with the car. This is solid, great looking and driving car, not a concourse show car. There are minor bumps and bruises and touched up scratches but nothing major. It is a very reliable, well maintained, quality vehicle that you will be very proud to own. The odometer shows 75905 and I believe it to be correct. The title shows miles exempt. I have a clear and clean CA title in my name and I am selling the Thing as-is and where is. Being a 1974, this Thing is SMOG exempt in CA.
