Attention !!! This is a (5) day re-listing only? Now has a buy it now price and new lower reserve. This listing is for my 1940 Ford Deluxe 2-door coupe. It is a very nice and quick gasser style street rod. it is also combined with a somewhat pro-street style. I did not build the car but it is well built and not a backyard shade tree build. The car is all steel and a strait body with a 2' x 4' custom built tube , full frame. It has a 5-link type rear fully adjustable suspension with coil overs and full traction bars incorporated into the 5- link system. It has a tube type front strait axle with front disc brakes and a reversed Vega steering box. with parallel leaf springs. The car handles well, drives good and handles like any large rear tire car does if on a rutted roadway. It will scoot. well built Chevy 377 stroker engine and aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan on a manual switch which should be changed over to an automatic fan switch. Has a turbo 350 automatic tranny with floor shifter. It has what appears to be a narrowed Ford rear axe. GM tilt steering column. This car is set up as a true street rod and therefor has no air-conditioning. It could easily be added if the winning bidder so desired. Fully finished interior, nicely done. Car has a full roll cage in it but could easily be removed , if needed but the cage is well designed and does not interfere with drivers or passengers vision or ability to get into or out of the car. It has a fuel cell(estimated at 10 to 15 gallon capacity and battery located in the trunk. All the glass is new and the windshield is the one piece style. The doors open and close tightly. I have a good , clear title. Trades considered but please be realistic. No junk , project cars, boats or motorcycles. This car is being sold where is , as is, "NO" implied or expressed warranty of ant kind. A $500 deposit thru Paypal is to be payed within (24) hours after auction ends--no exceptions. The balance to be payed in cash at time of pickup. Wire transfer for balance would be preferred. I would also accept a Bank Cashier's check but will hold the car and title for a minimum of (15) days after I receive the check to give it time to clear my bank (NO EXCEPTIONS). bidders with 0 to 10 transactions on eBay must contact me prior to bidding.
