Vehicle Detail

I am selling a 1973 Chevrolet 3/4 ton 4X4 Cheyenne Super K20 pickup. This truck is an original Oregon truck. In fact, I discovered that it was originally special ordered and purchased new by the cousin of a close friend of mine. I have the original purchase order disclosing the details and options of the special order. It was ordered to carry a camper and has a healthy rear sway bar. Also sports a front receiver hitch mounted professionally under the front bumper. Great for a hitch application. This is a really good truck, worth investing in. This is not a piece of rusty trash. Bid with confidence, and please call if you would like to ask any questions. Call 503-805-7031. The truck was ordered with: Lime Green & White 2-Tone ExteriorSlate Green Vinyl Interior with Brown padded CarpetAll Window with Soft Ray GlassAir ConditioningStainless Camper MirrorsHeavy Duty Shock AbsorbersHeavy Duty Front Stabilizer5.7l 350c.i. There has been at some point, paint restoration done on the truck. It is still the factory color scheme, but there are signs of age and normal use thereafter. Things like rock chips in the hood and small chips and scratches around the truck are evident. Most blemishes have been touched up with touch up paint. The restoration to both the green and white sections look to be of decent quality, and still keep a good shine. The body is very straight, and shows only slight indications of minor rust bubbles under the paint in the rear lower bed sides, directly behind the wheel openings. The fenders, rockers, and door jambs all look great. The bottom of the doors on inner lower doors look solid but paint is worn off. The hood has the typical minor buckling on the left and right sides, though the hood opens and closes nicely still. Interior:On a scale of 1-10, I would give the trucks interior condition an 8 The original dash cover was professionally repaired and re-dyed to the original color and matte. The original perforated headliner material was sagging and was replaced with a padded headliner material on the original headliner board which was still good. It has brand new padding and carpet to match the original color. The trim pieces that surround the windshield and headliner were professionally re-dyed to match the original color. The door panels are in very nice, original condition. Even the map pockets are in original condition. The windshield, gasket, and insert, are new. The walnut grain trim is in great condition, and the dash bezel is also in great condition. The original factory radio is still there, but does not work. Drive Train:This truck drives out really well. It starts and runs great. Shows good oil pressure and running temperatures. The transmission shifts perfectly with accurate, positive shift points. They are solid shifts that sound and feel good. The NP205 was standard on 1973 models. This differential feels solid The manual hubs turn smoothlyThe exhaust is in good order. It drives very tight. No rattles or excessive wind noise. Brakes are good and stop the truck nice and straight. Steering is as good as it gets. The engine was out of the truck recently to replace gaskets, so the engine block and heads were repainted, and the engine then reinstalled. The inner fenders, front core support, and firewall all look terrific. Tires are LT265-75R-16 GoodYear Wranglers with good tread. Regular maintenance has been done including fuel filter, rebuilt carburetor, air filter, oil and oil filter, ignition timing set. All lights work. This truck is completely road worthy and ready for a job. The odometer does work, so please believe that this truck has OVER 100k miles. Conditions of sale:Winning bidder must make $350 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of auctions end.Buyer is also responsible for any and all shipping charges.I can assist with arranging transportation options, and will ship internationally.Vehicle storage fees will begin after 2 weeks of auctions end at $40 per day.
