Unlike many (if not most) 89 Speedsters, the speedometer was never disconnected and I drove it. Today, the mileage is a little over 74,200 miles. No accidents. No mechanical issues. Original window sticker and bill of sale. Since I was under 40 and living in Philadelphia, originally I had the car titled in my father's name, to save on insurance. Years later I transferred it to my name. Clear title. Michelin Tires. The only issues that I am aware of that need attention are; the tachometer stopped working about two years ago,the A/C will need a charge, The original canvas top shows wear but remains perfectly serviceable.
