1986 Jaguar XJ6 L - California Car Currently registered. California Smog Inspection Passed & ready for new owner. No need to reinspect. Runs and drives nice. The "L" model is an extended wheelbase car; it provides an additional 10"+ for rear seat passengers. Transmission conversion to GM Turbo 350- Johns Cars conversion kit - $1,800.00 (this is a far superior transmission to the original and the transmission used by Rolles Royce). Rear calipers & brake pads replaced. New water pump. Radiator replaced. Hoses replaced. Tune-up has been completed. Interior nice -unusual color. Gray, not the usual Biscuit. Contrasts nicely with the exterior color. Radio with power antenna. The body is straight; the car has never been in an accident. Blue paint is in good condition, just the usual minor issues, at the base of the windscreen and rear glass, a quarter size rust point. There is a 2" minor dent from the underside of the bonnet (hood) where the original plastic fan hit it - the fan and fan clutch have been replaced with a metal (indestructible) fan. The tires are good; car cruises very comfortably.The car has the following minor issues; A/C does not cool, minor leak somewhere. Speedometer does not work - think it is the connection to the dash computer. Oil pressure gauge does not read sometimes - oil pressure is good, just the gauge is not working sometimes - how British.
