Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE My wife and I have been asked by our university to represent them at the Human Rights Council at the United Nations of Geneva for the next two years. We’ve agreed and leave in September. The pickup has to go. This isn’t a fire sale. It wouldn’t break my heart to have this fine truck waiting for me when we return. But two years is really too much time to store a vehicle without imposing on someone. And I would rather not. So it is for sale. I’ve gone to quite a lot of expense and time to get this little gem in tip-top shape for its new owner. Needs nothing. Send me an email for the $400 invoice for all fluids and filters done just last week. The bed liner, Rhino Liner, is new and recently replaced the stock GM bed liner, which was looking dirty. It has the WeatherTech heavy rubber floor mats to keep the carpet clean. No chips or cracks in the glass. Truck is clean. AC blows cold. Although this truck hasn’t worked hard (at least not while I’ve owned it) it did acquire an inch-long scratch on the driver’s side door at some point. There was a small chip in the windshield that has been professional repaired and is not visible. I’ve painted a few bits and pieces underneath with some good anti-corrosive stuff. We get lots of snow here. I had an extensive service done on the pickup to get it ready for sale. Every belt, hose, filter, fluid has been replaced with premium materials. I’ve used only full synthetic oil and changed every 2,500 miles since I’ve owned it. I will have a complete new set of photos up next week. These are six months old. I will also post even more photos to my Flickr account and make it easy for everyone to access it. Tires don’t have more than 1,500 miles on them and they are Michelin M/S mounted on chrome plated 17” rims. Looks sharp and the ride is terrific. Shocks and brakes are new all around, including new discs that were replaced about a year ago. Those looking for abundant power and towing capability will appreciate the LS1, all aluminum 5.3-liter V8. This a rare option in the Canyon. The acceleration is astonishing and you have to watch the speed limit carefully. This Canyon is equipped with the Z71 Off-Road Suspension package, which dramatically improves off-road performance. I like good, open, honest, frequent communication. I can be reached at 801-818-2158 or by email at donholsinger@gmail.com. I will respond to all inquiries as quickly as possible. Specific photographs are available on request. This is a terrific and unusual pickup. Nevertheless I’ve learned the hard way that I should never warranty anything and so I don’t—this beautiful midsize GMC Canyon is sold “AS IS WHERE IS.” NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. I encourage you to come out for a personal inspection and drive if possible. The pickup is garaged at our house in Provo, Utah about an hour south of the Salt Lake City International Airport.
