Up for auction is our 1999 Honda CR-V LX which we have owned since 2008. Accident free. No frame or flood damage. Non-smoking. Clean CARFAX! Copy of CARFAX report supplied to winning bidder. Vehicle is being sold "AS IS" and there is no warranty on it. Check engine light on. Read below. VIN # JHLRD1845XC048792 211761 Miles Car will either need new cylinder or another engine. Check engine light came on and car started to run rough. Brought to a Honda Certified mechanic who did a cylinder compression test on it. We were told one of the cylinders had lost compression. This is the second engine we put in from about 3 years ago. The second engine had around 160,000 miles on it. (Same thing happened to original engine. From what we were told, one of the cylinders lost compression due to sticking rings despite regular maintenance and highway driving.) Now one of the cylinders in the second engine needs work or replacement too. Car starts and runs without stalling but it's rough. If you know how to do engine work or know a mechanic that can bring the car up to speed again, you will have a great little car. Winning bidder please read! Whether you are a private buyer or wholesaler - even though the car starts and runs, the car cannot be driven on the road to prevent any damage and for safety reasons if it does stall. Only 3 of the 4 cylinders are working and I cannot guarantee that it will get from Point A to Point B without breaking down. Car will need to be flat-bedded or towed. Car has been well maintained by Honda certified technicians. Regular maintenance and oil changes done. Have copies of service records. Transmission shifts smoothly. New Kumho Solus front tires installed in November 2015. New rear tires installed November 2014. New windshield installed by Safelite autoglass a couple of years ago after a truck threw a stone and chipped the glass. Radiator replaced in 2011. All electrical items are in good working order. Headlights, brake lights, dash lights, power doors and windows work fine. One headlight lens has started to cloud - no moisture or condensation though. Interior is charcoal grey. Good condition. Rear hatch interior panel by latch has a crack in the plastic. Latch and lock still function. Air conditioner and heater in good working order. Radio and cassette tape deck work. Rear mounted spare tire. No spare tire cover. Non-smoking owners. Plenty of photos posted for you to look at. I'll be happy to answer any specifics or give any other details you need while the auction is running. This is a used vehicle. Expect minor dents, dings, scratches, rust and imperfections. It is your responsibility to ask questions since your expectations and opinion may be different than mine. I can't possibly include every detail. Along with the $100 Paypal deposit to be paid within 24 hours of auction close, the cash balance and vehicle pick-up must be made within one week of auction close please. Ebay requirements are sooner - within 4 days - but I am willing to give you 3 extra days and the ability to pick up the vehicle on the weekend after auction close if you need to. I also found more service repair history that was performed at a Honda dealership that you may be interested in. I've owned alot of Hondas and am a firm believer in using genuine Honda OEM parts. From my experience, they last longer. All genuine Honda factory parts were used, except for the radiator because the part was on back order at the time and I couldn't have the car hung up in the shop for a week. 7-21-2009: alignment and rear bushing replaced. 9-16-2011: 4 Bridgestone Alenza tires put on (Bridgestone no longer made the original Bridgestone tire model the car came with from the factory. The Alenza model was most comparable.) Alignment. Transmission flush. Radiator replaced as originally mentioned. 7-08-2013: Ignitor unit, cap and rotor, plugs and wires all replaced. Rear brake shoes replaced. 10-31-2013: Front brake pads and rotors replaced (not resurfaced) - new. 3-05-2014: Starter motor replaced. Headlight bulb replaced. 07-10-2014: Replaced right front inner and outer tie rods and right front coil springs. New rear wiper blade. Replaced left rear brake bulb. Replaced pipe that connects to frame to secure exhaust pipe. New cam seal, valve cover gasket and valve adjustment. 11-20-2014: 2 new rear tires. (Currently on car now.) 10-29-2015: New plugs. Replaced main relay (because mechanic pulled a code.) New Kumho tires purchased last November (as originally mentioned) and installed at our local PA inspection station. Regular oil changes and maintenance performed throughout ownership. We also had the timing belt and water pump changed around 110,000 miles but I cannot find the receipt and the previous Honda dealership we used years ago said they can't pull up records that old. Since Honda recommends the timing belt service every 105,000 miles or 7 years, whichever comes first, it would be due for another timing belt. If I have anymore info for you, I will certainly add it before auction closes. Thanks again.
