Now is the best time of the year to enjoy this 1984 Mercedes 380SL. Overall, this is car is in pretty good condition and ready to be enjoyed this summer. It starts, runs, and drives pretty good and is very solid - even the jacking points. The interior is in excellent condition and it has had a new soft top installed within the last couple years. While you can enjoy this car as it is, it does have a few battle scars from being loved over the years. I believe the the previous owner put the hardtop on and off by themselves. Because of this, the car has several large scratches on the trunk and dent in the drivers rear corner of the hardtop. Also the hard top appears to have been stored improperly causing a small amount of rust on the bottom edge, but is not seen while the top is on the car. Also, there is a small amount of rust beginning near the gas door and front hood emblem. Also, it appears to have been resprayed at some point in its life but does have small scratches commensurate with its age. True mileage is not known - Odometer shows 130K.
