All matching numbers car and has original documentation including Protecto Plate in Warranty book, owners manuals, and many of the 40 years of registration cards. It has never had any rust or major body repairs. Ultra solid floors and trunk. It has had one exterior respray in its original color many years ago that will need to be redone due to lacquer checking. Only a few minor dings in body. All chrome is in good driver quality condition with minimal signs of aging, no pitting. All interior is original and in great shape for its age. The dashboard has a minor split on both sides of speaker grille holes as shown in pictures. Convertible top works great but the original material has a handful of flaws. All power windows work. All gauges work except for the fuel gauge and the emergency brake light stays on. AC blows semi cold, im sure it could use a shot of freon. The weatherstripping around the doors and windows is in need of replacement. Runs great and drives very well. Just had the fuel tank cleaned out and a new fuel pump installed. One Owner until just recently, this 1972 Impala convertible has only 41,100 original miles. All matching numbers car and has original documentation including Protecto Plate in Warranty book, owners manuals, and many of the 40 years of registration cards. It has never had any rust or major body repairs. Ultra solid floors and trunk. It has had one exterior respray in its original color many years ago that will need to be redone due to lacquer checking. Only a few minor dings in body. All chrome is in good driver quality condition with minimal signs of aging, no pitting. All interior is original and in great shape for its age. The dashboard has a minor split on both sides of speaker grille holes as shown in pictures. Convertible top works great but the original material has a handful of flaws. All power windows work. All gauges work except for the fuel gauge and the emergency brake light stays on. AC blows semi cold, im sure it could use a shot of freon. The weatherstripping around the doors and windows is in need of replacement. Runs great and drives very well. Just had the fuel tank cleaned out and a new fuel pump installed. This is a great Impala that with a little work could be an exceptional show car or drive it as is.
